  • Entry deadline for the 18 & under category is Tuesday 13th March at 2:00pm sharp.


EASTER TRAINING CAMP (NTC) – Monday 9th-Friday 13th April, 2018

  • Coach- National Coach Carlos Lopez and two coaches from UTS.



  • A team will be representing St. Lucia at this tournament.
  • Entry deadline for this event is Tuesday 20th March at 2:00pm sharp.



  • To be hosted by the Total Tennis Club in collaboration with the National Tennis Centre.


ITF GRADE 5 TOURNAMENT in Martinique- April 20th-28th

  • Lucia will be represented. Entry deadline is 27th March at 2:00pm sharp.



  • Players from the SLTAI will be participating.
  • This is a 12 & under tournament.
  • Entry deadline is 15th April, 2018.



The Pinehill Lucelec National Independence Tennis Tournament continued on Friday with exciting matches in the men and women open category. Jean Philippe Murray junior national player who has been away at school in the U.S returns on a winning record facing Stephan Anuis in the open category defeating him 6-1 6-1 and later on went on to defeat Pascal Laurencine player from the Martinique team with the same score 6-1 6-1. Laurencine defeated Eshem Edward in straight sets 6-3 6-4.

Women Open player Iesha Emile #2 ranked in St. Lucia defeated Laurie Weismann from Martinique in three sets. Weismann secured the first set in a tie break 7-3 and Emile went on to win the second set 7-5. Emile won the third set 6-1. Later on Emile went on to defeat Marie Flore Louis from Martinique in straight sets 7-5 6-2.

The juniors started play in the afternoon first on court 14 & under national player Arden Rosemond defeated Nathan Elliott in straight sets 4-0 4-0, Saige Charlemagne defeated Saneil Bernard in the boys 16s draw. Charlemagne won the first set 4-2 with Bernard getting a remarkable comeback winning the second set 4-1. The deciding set which was a super tiebreak was dominated by Charlemagne 10-5. Joey Angeloni defeated Oscar Garcia 4-0 4-0. Alysa Elliot #1 seed in the girls 12s draw defeated Latoya Murray without difficulty in straight sets 4-1 4-0. Aidan Bousquet defeated Gordan Foster in straight sets 4-1 4-0. Bousquet is the #1 seed in the boys 18s draw.

The Men and women took to the courts later that evening. Clent Mitchel defeated Dean White in straight sets 6-2 6-2. Maxx William with no difficulty defeated Ky-Mani Sumra in straight sets 6-0 6-0. Sumra didn’t win any games. Alexandre Gaetan outstanding player from the French team defeated Jonathan Gladding in straight sets 6-2 6-1, he also went on to defeat Randolph Rosemond in straight sets  Daneil Nunez new on the scene has had a winning record defeating Ky-Mani Sumra in straight sets 6-1 6-1, he also defeated Gregory Cooper 6-1 6-0. In the women draw Netanya Faissal and Aviona Edmund played Laurie Weismann from Martinique and were defeated in straight sets.

The Pinehill Lucelec National Independence Tennis Tournament served off yesterday with exciting match play.



Saige Charlemagne

Players took to the courts yesterday at the National Tennis Centre as the first round of the Pinehill National Independence Tennis Tournament served off. In the 14 & under category junior national player Saige Charlemagne defeated Jason Hunte in straight sets 5-4 4-1, Nathan Elliott defeated Charles Greenidge in straight sets also 4-2 4-0 and Petterson George defeated Ryan Nathaniel 4-2 2-4 10-8. In the girls Latoya Murray defeated Lailah Mathurin 4-1 4-1.

In the boys 12 & under Orlando Augustin secured victory against his opponent Cheyne Louis 4-2 4-0.

In the girls 12 & under Mahkya Suffren in her debut 12 & under match defeated Brianna Jn. Baptiste 5-3 4-1, Alannah Bousquet defeated Natasha Charles 4-0 4-0, Alysa Elliott had her way with Amara Jn. Marie defeating her 4-0 4-0.


Jorja Mederick former national 12 & under # 1 player has moved to under 14s with her undefeated record to date. She defeated Aviona Edmund in the girls 16 & under 5-4 4-0 10-7.

National 18 & under female champion Meggan William has decided to sit out in the 18s female category and play against the men in the open category, her first match was against Ricardo Francois where she is currently leading up one set 6-3 and the score is tied in the second set 1-1, the match continues today we will keep you updated with the final result. Gaetan Alexandre defeated member of the Martinique team who entered the tournament defeated National 18 & under player Nicholas St. John in the open category in straights 6-1 6-1. Jonathan Gladding last year’s finalist in the senior men’s category defeated Randolph Rosemond in straight sets 6-2 6-1. Maxx William only 14 years old and entered the open category defeated Gregory Cooper 6-0 6-0, very outstanding score for William.

Iesha Emile defeated Laurie Weissmann player from the Martinique Team in a tough match. Weissmann won the first set 7-6 with Emile struggling to win the second 7-5. The deciding set was secured by Emile 6-1.

Rain delayed play until the morning with French player Pascal Laurencine defeating Eshem Edward in straight sets 6-3 6-4. Jean Philippe Murray defeated Stephan Anuis 6-1 6-1.

Play continues today in the Pinehill Lucelec National Independence Tennis Tournament. TOTAL TENNIS CLUB SUCCESSFULLY HOST- Hallmark 12 & under Tennis Tournament

Total Tennis Club, successfully hosted the Hallmark 12 and under Tennis Tournament over the past weekend which featured some exhilarating tennis.Four Clubs island wide, namely, Vernon Lewis International, Acers Tennis Club, Toni’s Tennis Club and host Total Tennis Club from Micoud converged on the National Tennis Center Courts. Players from the Association’s Grassroots program and Schools Tennis Initiative Program – STI also participated.In the consolation draw Jowell Phillp from the La Guerre Primary School emerged champion. Playing unbeaten in the main draw Jonas Sylvester defeated Nathaniel Charles of the Gros Islet Primary in straight sets to make the final. In a tough final match Sylvester got the better of his fellow school mate Cheyne Louis also in straight sets.

In the girls category, Iyana Paul of the Balata Primary School had a smooth ride in the round robin phase of the tournament. In the semi final she defeated Latoya Murray of the Grande Rivere Primary School in straight sets. In the finals she continued her unbeaten run without dropping a set as she got past Amelia Rosemond also in straight sets.Tournament Director and Club Head Coach – Dean White expressed thanks on behalf of Total Tennis Club Hallmark for sponsoring the event and hoped it will be an annual event on the Club’s calendar. TTC, also wished to thank Splash Island for their donation which went to the outstanding players in the tournament. Special thanks to Barbara Louis for providing meals for the players, also Ms. Marie Jn. Baptiste and the entire tournament organizing team.


Hallmark and Splash Island Water Park has partnered with the Total Tennis Club to host its inaugural“Green Ball Tennis Play Day”. The event is scheduled to serve off from Saturday 27th –Sunday 28th January,2018. Categories for this event includes 10 & under green dot ball and 12 & under. The event is open to all boys and girls in this category with singles and doubles.Tournament Director Coach Dean White is really excited and looks forward to having the kids compete as this is a sanctioned event and they will be playing for ranking points.
